Access to Illinois Dispensaries
Many people often inquire how to initiate the process of shopping for cannabis. In Illinois, until August 2021, medical card holders had to register to shop at dispensary locations. For those of us who “follow the pack”, that meant having to constantly reregister for locations and wait for approval before shopping. Now the State of Illinois has become a bit less restrictive in how we access the points of sale for cannabis. Now as long as you have a medical card, are over the age of 21 you can pretty much go anywhere. The same applies if you plan to shop recreationally. You must present proper if and be of the over the age of 21. The State of Illinois will not loose in the race to generate revenue in cannabis sales at all costs.
